I sat there, on the cold seat, holding the chains that hold me up. I find out staring at the ocean of wood chips below, but it wasn't the first time. It was a world of solitude. But then the world was thundered on by the sound of rusting chains creaking.
I look to the side, there was a girl. She was looking down at first, silently swinging beside me. Then she turned and looked at me and smiled.
My desert stirred, like a storm.

For the first time in decades, the doorknob of the quaint old house was grabbed and turned by a pale, slim hand. The building hasn't been occupied ever since its single occupant passed away thirty years ago. For thirty years her memory has been remained untouched in this house. But for the first time, that memory will be revisited.
The person in question was a handsome young man, or at least a young man in appearance only. By now he was well over a century old, yet he was still looked like a youthful twenty-five year old. He was an old acquaintance of the deceased owner of the house, she having known him since him even before his birth.

How many steps has he taken now? How many times has he stared at that simple picture that adorned the endlessly long hallway? How long has the seconds that passed seemed like hours?
Eventually the man heard his name pierce the still silence followed by soft cries.
Shaken and feeling like a child who's just encountered something new, the tall usually calm and composed man timidly approached the door in front of him. As if something were to jump at him, he slowly opened the door and peered inside.
Inside he found his life long partner breathing heavily, eyes closed with beads of sweat dotting her forehead. Eyebrows scrunching up, he thought

Sorry for the trouble but I don't think I'll be that active for awhile. Not until I get settled into a schedule or something, or until the work load dies down a bit. Papers + college crap makes a baddd combination.
I'll still be on from time to time but I doubt I'll do anything. Usually I just leave my screen on and don't pay attention too it.
Hopefully my hiatus doesn't last long...

Sup everyone. Just thought I'd post a journal entry on what's going on in life since a couple online friends have asked where I've been lately. First off, sorry for not being that active and stuff.
Let's just say, I've been busy/lazy recently. Although my mom doesn't see it, I'm seriously thinking hard about my senior year. So hard in fact, that I'm about to rip out my hair and freak about it. I've also signed up as a volunteer to two summer club/camps/school/whatever. Also thinking about finding a job/regular volunteer work at some public place. Basically I'm trying to make plans for my future, or whatever I can make of it.
So yeah, if you
